Description
Features and Application
- Heavy-duty ductile iron body: The 30505 vise is a robust tool offering an excellent quality-to-price ratio. The material used ensures high impact resistance and prevents cracking under heavy loads. With a tensile strength of 414 MPa and a clamping force of 2450 daN, this model is perfect for daily workshop operations. For extreme industrial applications, we recommend the FSV08 model with a superior tensile strength of 896 MPa.
- Dual clamping zone: This tool offers exceptional versatility with two types of gripping surfaces:
- Flat upper jaws: Made of hardened, galvanized steel with a serrated profile. These are replaceable, allowing you to restore factory precision and significantly extending the overall lifespan of the vise.
- Integrated pipe jaws: Cast directly into the body for maximum rigidity. They provide a secure grip on round profiles and bars without any risk of slippage.
- 360° interlocking swivel base: Equipped with a dual locking mechanism and mounting holes, allowing for precise positioning and stable attachment to the workbench.
- Large anvil surface: The integrated flat work area allows for additional tasks such as forging, straightening, or shaping workpieces directly on the vise.
- Ergonomic design and a precision-engineered handle ensure high user comfort and secure clamping of workpieces.
- Dedicated to advanced metalworking, pipe repairs, and assembly tasks in professional service centers as well as home garages. When working with delicate surfaces, we recommend using magnetic TPU jaw pads. They protect the material from serration marks, combining the convenience of magnetic mounting with the durability of polyurethane.

The first cast iron vise was created in England in 1830. While it was easy to mold molten iron into any shape, the casting process often resulted in air pockets or voids. As a result, the structure was brittle and porous, causing early vises to frequently crack under stress.
