Information:
The universal automatic head for boring and facing is a tool that, thanks to the multi-position tool clamping function and automatic tool slide feed, allows for many different machining operations, such as:
- boring holes in a wide range of diameters - 5-250 mm,
- facing the front and rear face of the hole and turning external surfaces,
- creating grooves,
- turning internal and external surfaces by adding the feed of the machine spindle with the automatic feed of the head's tool slide,
- thread cutting,
- performing multi-tool machining.
The universal boring head performs the same boring operations as a standard, manually adjustable boring head, but the automatic mechanism The feed rate can be set to automatically feed the boring bar laterally by a specified amount with each spindle revolution.
