To properly install the ER clamping collet into the holder, you should:
- Insert the collet at an angle into the nut
- Hook the collet slot onto the eccentric or cylindrical projection of the nut (Fig. A)
- Press the collet into the nut (Fig. B)
- Screw the nut with the pressed collet onto the holder so that it is possible to clamp the tool
