Description
Information:
- The clamping device designed for high strength is made of high-quality specially hardened materials.
- The body is made of cast iron hardened to approx. 40 HRC, while the steel jaws (fixed and movable) are hardened up to approx. 48-52 HRC.
- The proper design of the movable jaws pulls the clamped element down onto the base.
- A special combination of pull screw and supporting bushing allows simultaneous clamping of objects of different sizes.
- The vise has grooves and channels to firmly secure it on the machining table using clamping elements.
- Another advantage is the special jaw design. They are narrower than the base, so the device can also work in a side position, making use of the entire surface for inserting inserts.
- Jaw inserts can be mounted on both sides of the device. This provides many mounting combinations, even for flat objects, which can be rested on the jaw surfaces.
- Universal application even in EDM machines and CNC machining centers.
- Mounting of a workpiece that does not contact the base is done using parallel shims, close in length to the width of the jaw inserts.
