To properly install the ER collet in the chuck, follow these steps:

Insert the collet at an angle into the nut.
Hook the collet groove onto the eccentric or cylindrical protrusion of the nut (see Fig. A).
Press the collet into the nut (see Fig. B).
Screw the nut with the pressed collet onto the holder to enable securing the tool.
