- ER collet for tools with a cylindrical shank.
- Visible marking on the front of the collet.
- Cage compatible with ER nuts.
- Grooves allow for spring-loading of the collet, turning the nut causes the hole to narrow and widen.

To correctly install the ER collet in the holder:
- Insert the collet at an angle into the nut.
- Hook the collet's groove onto the eccentric or cylindrical projection of the nut (Fig. A).
- Press the collet into the nut (Fig. B).
- Screw the nut with the pressed-in collet onto the holder so that the tool being processed can be clamped.
