Description
Features and Applications:
- ER collet for M3 machine thread taps.
- Compensating holders are used for threading with ER collets.
- Sealed versions are also available for coolant-through tool applications.

Mounting collets in nuts:
- Insert the collet at an angle into the nut.
- Hook the collet groove onto the eccentric or cylindrical protrusion of the nut (fig. A).
- Press the collet into the nut (fig. B).
- Screw the nut with the pressed collet onto the holder to secure the tool.
- To remove the collet, see fig. C.
