- ER25 collet for tools with a cylindrical shank.
- Collets fit ER25 collet chucks.
- ER25 nuts are used for wedging and clamping the collet cage.
- Slots allow the collet to spring.

To properly install the ER collet in the chuck you should:
- Insert the collet at an angle into the nut.
- Engage the collet slot with the eccentric or cylindrical protrusion of the nut (see Fig. A).
- Press the collet into the nut (see Fig. B).
- Screw the nut with the pressed collet onto the chuck so that the tool can be clamped.
