- ER25 nuts are used for wedging and clamping the collet holder.

To properly install the ER collet in the chuck, you should:
- Insert the collet at an angle into the nut.
- Hook the collet slot onto the eccentric or cylindrical protrusion of the nut (fig. A).
- Press the collet into the nut (fig. B).
- Thread the nut with the pressed collet onto the chuck so that it is possible to clamp the tool being machined.
