Description
Properties and Application:
- ER25 collet for tools with a cylindrical shank.
- Collets fit ER25 collet chucks.
- ER25 nuts are used for wedging and clamping the collet.
- Grooves allow the collet to spring.
- Clamping range: 12.0 - 11.0 mm.

To properly install the ER collet in the chuck, you should:
- Insert the collet at an angle into the nut.
- Hook the groove of the collet onto the eccentric or cylindrical projection of the nut (Fig. A).
- Press the collet into the nut (Fig. B).
- Screw the nut with the pressed collet onto the chuck so that the tool to be machined can be clamped.
