To properly install the ER collet in the holder, you should:
- Insert the collet at an angle into the nut
- Engage the groove of the collet with the eccentric or cylindrical protrusion of the nut (fig. A)
- Press the collet into the nut (fig. B)
- Screw the nut with the pressed collet onto the holder so that it is possible to clamp the tool to be machined
