To properly install the ER collet sleeve in the chuck, you should:
- Insert the sleeve at an angle into the nut
- Hook the groove of the sleeve onto the eccentric or cylindrical protrusion of the nut (Fig. A)
- Press the sleeve into the nut (Fig. B)
- Screw the nut with the pressed sleeve onto the chuck so that the tool to be clamped can be secured
