Description
Features and application:
- ER50 collet for tools with a cylindrical shank.
- Collets fit ER50 collet holders.
- ER nuts are used for wedging and clamping the cage.
- The grooves allow for spring-loading of the collet.
- Clamping range: 8.0 - 7.0 mm.
- To tighten the collet nuts, use hook or multi-point ER50 wrench.

To correctly mount the ER collet in the holder:
- Insert the collet at an angle into the nut
- Hook the collet's groove onto the eccentric or cylindrical projection of the nut (Fig. A)
- Press the collet into the nut (Fig. B)
- Screw the nut with the pressed-in collet onto the holder so that the tool being processed can be clamped
