To correctly mount the ER collet in the holder:
- Insert the collet at an angle into the nut.
- Hook the collet's groove onto the eccentric or cylindrical protrusion of the nut (fig. A).
- Press the collet into the nut (fig. B).
- Screw the nut with the pressed-in sleeve onto the holder so that the tool being processed can be mounted.
