Features and application:
- A dividing head is an auxiliary device used for milling operations requiring, for example, dividing the circumference of a workpiece into a number of equal or unequal parts, dividing straight line segments into parts or milling helical grooves.
- A dividing plate mounted on the front of the spindle.
- The spindle position is determined by means of a pin with a latch, extended and retracted using a lever.
- The dividing device is used when working on grinders, milling machines and bench or column drilling machines.
- The main disc (black) allows for rotation every 10° (36 holes on the circumference).
- Dividing step using a vernier (scale on the housing): 1°
- For the spindle, collets of the 5C
- The dividing device can achieve a division accuracy of ±4’
