Properties and application:
- The support plate protects the turning tool against damage in the event of the cutting insert chipping
- The presence of the washer prevents the cutting insert from being pressed into the turning tool socket
- The shape of the insert diamond 55°
- The support plate is mounted using:
- LVP angle lever - in the P clamping system
- The hole for the pin is secured using SPP4 spring sleeve
