Description
Information:
- Holder for mounting ER16 collet chucks.
- Morse taper shank with thread for extraction in conventional machines.
- A properly seated collet is perfectly flush with the face of the ER nut, only then should we tighten the whole thing with a special hook wrench or multipoint.
- Additional recess for a flat wrench for counter-tightening and unscrewing the tool.
- Standard collets have a round hole, which makes the holder universal, as we can clamp all shank tools with a cylindrical or cylindrical shank with a Weldon flat, i.e. drills, or milling cutters.
- Through-through tool for internal cooling.

How to properly mount a collet in a nut ER?

The collet should be mounted at an angle, hooking the cage channel onto the eccentric or cylindrical band of the nut (A), feeling a slight resistance, press until a characteristic "click" is heard (B). Disassembly is equally simple, tilt the cage to release it from the band in the nut (C).
